Laser Trajectory Pointer, Tripod Mount, and Rod Kit

The EVI-PAQ Trajectory Kit is an easy to use kit that includes everything needed to measure bullet trajectories at crime scenes. The EVI-PAQ Trajectory Kit is the choice of forensic experts around the world. Includes the 12" protractor which also holds the laser and the cordura carrying case.

EVI-PAQ's The 8 Piece Protrusion Rod Sets are in Bright Yellow and Fluorescent Pink for easy photography. Rods are connectable to provide sufficient length for easy trajectory measurement. Kits include 3 connectors and 2 rods with internal threads on each end and 2 rod with internal threads on one end and pointed on the other in each color.

Yellow Protrusion Rod Kit include four 18" x ¼" aluminum rods. The Yellow rods can be centered in large holes with spacer cones. 

Pink Protrusion Rod Kits include four 18" x 3/16" steel rods. The Pink Rods are specially designed to be used for .22 caliber bullet holes or holes too small for the Yellow Rods.

The EVI-PAQ BP-1 is a unique laser pointing device with an ultra-bright beam that is specifically designed to assist an investigator in the determination of the source and the trajectory of bullets at a crime scene. Its design allows it to be used in conjunction with EVI-PAQ’s Tripod mount, protrusion rods and the 12" protractor all include in these exclusive kit that we have built to take all the guess work out of a major purchase. all you need is your standard camera tripod.

Unlike conventional lasers, an innovative design feature places the on-off switch internal to the unit, which is activated when a mounting adapter is screwed into place at its base. In this way, its clean cylindrical shape is not marred by an external switch that may be prone to breakage or failure. The BP-1 is a one piece unit containing a solid state laser diode built into a high impact aluminum housing. The unit is powered by a pair of N size 1.5 volt alkaline batteries (included), which provide 9-11 hours of continuous power-on use. 

When attached to a protrusion rod that has been inserted into a bullet hole, the laser beam will indicate either the direction and angle of the source, or the direction and angle of the exit and subsequent impact point. If a unit is attached to both ends of a protrusion rod, both indications can be made simultaneously. Please also note: The BP-1 laser has a range of more than 200 yards, twice as much as pen lasers. 

With the EVI-PAQ Tripod Mount (included), a BP-1 laser can be placed in open space and aimed at, and through a bullet hole to indicate a point of impact. Lasers can be attached to any of the 4 sides of the tripod mount to determine both the source and destination of the bullet. The tripod mount saves man hours; no need to have a separate person just to hold the laser.
